Our Purpose

How PICK Started

Nine School Board Candidates! NINE! Why are so many candidates hoping to represent us? This was a question that began to be repeated in our community. Many community members anxiously attended the School Board's meet the candidate; however, many left underwhelmed with the lack of information and substance shared throughout the night. Sadly, with the short amount of time given to introduce themselves and answer questions, many important issues were not addressed.

Frustrated parents and families gathered and 

vowed to become more educated on our elected officials and the pressing issues our district faces.  The Preston community deserves honest, transparent candidates and elections.

PICK was formed by many community members who wish to keep our small town strong, educated, and united. It is our hope that each voter will actively seek those candidates that will best represent our community, while advocating passionately for our children.
